Bell Show

Prime cattle at the Bell show

Our first outing in the show calendar saw students accompanied by our livestock manager Hayden Todd and Agricultural teacher Janine Milne off to the Bell show.

Prime cattle and sheep which were bred right here on Bunya Campus brought home a collection of ribbons. The prime sheep won two firsts, two seconds and a third ribbon and the heavy weight lambs were the overall champion pen for the day. Our prime cattle did not disappoint winning us two seconds and two thirds. A successful and enjoyable outing capped off with students spending some time with the Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull who was very interested in the livestock at the show.

A handful of the Bunya Campus residents also enjoying a trip out to Bell for some rides, games and fairy floss.
