Vocational Certificate Courses

​The following courses deliver nationally-recognised vocational certificates within the course, successful students will complete the vocational certificate course while at school. 

Innovate Ag

Innovate Ag is Dalby High’s signature Agricultural program. The program aims to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge that will enable to them to be capable workers with the Agricultural industry. Within the course, students will undertake a variety of school subjects as well as vocational courses both through internal scope or external agency support. It is this combination of studies that creates success within the program. Students undertaking the Innovate Ag program study the following subjects/courses:

PVM or Math A

English Communication

 Ag. Studies

Cert II Agriculture

Cert II Engineering (Pathways)

Cert III Business

Certificate II in Agriculture (AHC20110) - 4 credits
Certificate II in Agriculture is designed for students wishing to obtain nationally recognised qualifications related to livestock, cropping, horticulture and general agricultural practices. This course prepares students who are interested in gaining employment​ in the agricultural industry directly from school.

​Certificate I in Engineering (MEM10105) - 3 credits 
Certificate II in Engineering (MEM20105) - 4 credits
This certificate is designed for those students who are interested in learning basic engineering or those interested in learning basic metal working skills.

Certificate I in Manufacturing (Pathways) (MSA10107) - 3 credits
This certificate is designed for students to meet basic entry level for the Australian manufacturing industry sector. It covers a variety of competencies used by production workers, tradespeople, technicians and associate professional. These are applied in a range of manufacturing from simply transformed to elaborately transformed materials.
